Nord Hostel

When you arrive with your backpack in a foreign city, on little more than a shoestring, you half expect to have to traipse to some distance corner of town just to rest your sleepy head. Not so with the Nord Hostel, which enjoys the sort of location most five star hotels would be envious of. From its whereabouts on the Bolshaya Morskaya you are just a hop and a skip away from the Nevsky Prospect (St. Petersburg main thoroughway) and a jump further and you'll find yourself at the gates of the Hermitage! What else do you want to know? Its smart and clean with free brekkie and internet access.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Fantastic homey atmosphere, immaculate facilities, friendly people and unbeatable location. They made my trip!

The location here really can't be beat. Of course, it;s not the most luxurious facility in St. Petersburg, but you get what you pay for. For a couple of nights, it was just fine!

It is the worst hostel I´ve been in my life, worst than in Latin America ones or Africa. The only thing you pay is location. We were there one week and it was never nver cleaned, not even the microscopic bathroom, constantly full of hair. The staff once they get the money, they just disappear; Frankly i don´t understand the good reviews, it was terrible;

What a wonderful location. Literally within walking distance of the most important sights in St Pete's. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were adequate for a backpackers hostel.

Just returned from a stay with a group of 24 athletes. We all had a blast! The staff prepared us for life in St. Pete, escorted us, provided maps - made us want to return soon!

Good place. Cheap and near the centre of town. I would recommend it for travelers
