Dancing Robots On The Railways

Russian railway bosses are replacing man with machinery when it comes to difficult maintenance work on trains and tracks.

The state-of-the-art Russian androids are thought to be more advanced than anything else out there, which apart from being a dab hand with a spanner can also talk and dance!

The Russian railway systems have invested in seven small robots and one considerably larger 1.4m android intended for work which humans find difficult. The robots were recently showcased on Russian TV dancing on tables in front of an amazed audience... Apparently Marcia Griffith's Electric Boogie is their favourite tune.
