Cynic Bar

|
Cynic Bar is something of an institution in St. Petersburg. An archetypal Russian dive bar, Cynic is basically a room with tables and benches where you can buy cheap beer and food - and therefore meets all the exacting criteria of its highly discerning patrons. Start your night here by getting slowly stewed on a Cobra beer whilst tucking into the house speciality - fried bread with garlic. Once suitably sozzled, stagger around shouting 'na zdorovie' at random people and making new friends. Bear in mind that they sometimes have fancy dress events here, so best arrive in a Batman costume to be on the safe side... |

Fishy goings on at the morgue
Police have seized a vast stash of rare caviar at a St. Petersburg morgue.
The delicacy was found in canisters marked 'Aviation Security...

I went to check this place out and found no sign of it's existence at the address. After talking to a knowledgeable Russian friend of mine he informed me that it is now closed down. Hopefully it pops up again somewhere soon as most Petersburg clubs do, it sounds bomb.
