Established in 1989, when a bunch of arty types occupied a disused building and started doing their thing, the "Pushkinskaya-10" Art Centre has since become one of Russia's best known cultural centres. Under its bohemian roof you will find a host of art galleries, museums, studios, shops as well as one of St. Petersburg's most famous alternative nightclubs - Fish Fabrique. If you're at all interested in Russian contemporary art, P-10 is where it's all happening. Of course, being run by a bunch of lazy non-conformists, you shouldn't be too surprised to learn that the museum and galleries are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and only operate 15:00-19:00 the rest of the week. Access the centre from the courtyard of Ligovskiy prospekt, no. 53.
