State Hermitage Museum

|
No trip to St. Petersburg would be complete without a trip to the amazing State Hermitage Museum - arguably the most famous museum in the entire world. With three million works of art stretching back to the stone age and spanning every major world culture to the present day, it's fair to say there's enough to keep you busy for an hour or two. Strolling around the corridors and chambers of the Winter Palace you can admire everything from classical sculptures of Roman Emperors to over twenty works by Rembrandt, and much much much more! The tickets aren't cheap for this one, so that fake student ID you bought in Bangkok will definitely come in handy.
